Following Interviews at the Wellcome Trust‘s London Headquarters in late February, Tom was awarded the prestigious Wellcome Trust / Royal Society Sir Henry Dale fellowship. However, due to the previous successful application for an ERC Starter Grant , which scientifically overlapped with the proposal submitted to the Wellcome Trust, Tom had to gratefully decline this excellent opportunity.
